Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain for her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In 2012, she was awarded gold in the team competitions along with the floor workouts. For the balance beam, Raisman received a bronze. It made her the Olympic gymnast with most medals. In the 2016, Olympics she won a gold medal at the team event, which gave her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the honour of being among the first Americans to take home back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she won silver medals in floor and individual all-around exercise. Between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics to rest for three months. She won gold in the Olympics. American team also took part in 2 World Championships. When she was just 2 her first lesson was gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away due to cancer. As for the future, she is planning to create a profession from fashion. It is also her goal to increase her range of leotards as well as her sock selection. Fierce is a novel she is working on will release later in the year.
